Why is it important to make time for a retreat?
Experience quietness in a peaceful and relaxed environment. Participating in guided meditations. Enjoying the company of like minded people.
A retreat can deepen your spiritual life and bring clarity and calmness on all levels.
We will reflect on the wisdom of Paramahansa Yogananda which include various techniques to help reach the stillness of meditation.
The teachings will explore the topic of “What is Truth?”
There will also be Yoga Nidra sessions which help promote deep relaxation. There is no movement involved in Yoga Nidra. It is a guided practice, usually lying down.
There will be a morning practice of Slow Yoga which is particularly good for the nervous system.
Free time is important, so time will be available to simply rest, enjoy the spacious surroundings and the company of others if you choose.
All meal are vegetarian and most dietary requirements can be catered for.
The venue is very comfortable, peaceful and friendly and there is a Labyrinth for walking meditation.
This retreat will give you the opportunity to experience deep rest, stillness, and the joy of meditation
